Memory, truth and violence are just some of the themes in AUC’s new play, Fuddy Meers, a dark comedy written by Pulitzer prize winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Professor Jillian Campana.
Claire awakens each morning having forgotten everything from the day before. Her husband and teenage son must teach her about her life, but chaos erupts when Claire is abducted by a limping and lisping man who claims her husband wants to kill her. Other characters include a mentally unstable man with a puppet for a best friend, an elderly woman with severe aphasia and a cop with a vendetta.
Come watch seven theatre students and a sock puppet transport you to a zany world where nothing is certain. This is one event not to be missed! For mature audiences only.
What would you do if you woke up and didn't know who you were?
