After “Jews of Egypt” which travelled in a journey in the history of the Egyptian Jewish community in the first half of the twentieth century... starts a new journey... or maybe the end of an old one

Today, of almost eighty thousand Egyptian Jews at least... Only 12 ladies are still living in Egypt and decided to spend the rest of their lives there...

Magda Shehata Harroun , the new president of the Jewish community is trying to end both the voluntary and the forced silence and discretion that surrounded the Jews of Egypt for years , dreaming that one day , the long closed gates of the Synagogues would be open to all  Egyptians  so that they can learn about their history and to accept the diversity Egypt once represented

About Magda Harroun , A few remaining Jewish Ladies in Egypt and Synagogues that became deserted .. Comes “Jews of Egypt – the End of a Journey”
