As COVID-19 remains a real health threat impairing our everyday lives, the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) guidelines, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), have all formulated early information in regards to handling the emerging infection of COVID-19 and preventing its spread.

AUC School of Business Executive Education's upcoming Healthcare webinar COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Controlwill focus on these guidelines, with reflection on two effective national models; CCHE-57357 and Kasr El Aini, and how they handled the risk and implemented proper IPC measures in reference to standards. The webinar will be led by Professor of Clinical Pathology at Kasr El Aini School of Medicine Amal Sayed and Head of the IPC department at CCHE-57357 Nagwa Khamis.

Webinar key discussion points:

·       Getting ready globally and learn to plan locally.

·       In pandemic emerging infections: Does risk communication work better than crisis management?
